Make a Clean Sweep with this Broom Making Activity!

Make a besom broom at home with the following tutorial from the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Wildlife Trust.

Let’s find out what it is like to sweep with your broom made of twigs. Practice sweeping outside in the dirt or on the sidewalk or driveway. *Please do not sweep the floors inside your house, as the flooring we use today is easy to scratch and damage! You can even create mini besom brooms from other plants. Use a small twig for the handle and pine needles, grass or other plant material for the bristles. Happy cleaning!!
