About The Event

Agecroft Hall was filled with music! On this special focus tour, learn what instruments were used in William Shakespeare’s plays. Each one had music and dancing. Queen Elizabeth I loved to play music. What did it sound like? What instruments were played for the country people to dance the rigadoon or the allemande? Lutes, Flutes, & Singing Strings is an opportunity to see our collection of period instruments and hear some wonderful music, recorded and live. 

Reservations and advanced payment are required by December 19th. $10.00 per person.
