About The Event
When we think of Spring, we imagine warm breezes and colorful flowers beginning to peek up from the ground. Perhaps we even picture a bunny or two! It was no different in the past. Spring has always symbolized growth, birth and a waking-up of the earth. What a wonderful thing to celebrate!
Join Agecroft’s educators for this drop off workshop filled with floral fun as we explore spring and its plants. Discover what the great William Shakespeare had to say about plants and flowers, what importance they held for people in Early Modern England, and what meanings they hold for us today. Participants will explore Agecroft’s gardens and create their own spring vase with hand-crafted flowers!
Recommended for ages 7-11.
Fee: $10 per child
